Travian Artifacts

There are three different categories of travian artifacts available:

Village travian artifacts, account travian artifacts and unique travian artifacts. Village travian artifacts only affect the village they are stored in, account travian artifacts effect the whole account and unique travian artifacts do the same but with a greater bonus.

At any one time each player is only allowed to use a maximum of three travian artifacts, of which only one can have an account or unique scope. Players may however hold more than 3 travian artifacts but only the 3 oldest travian artifacts will be used. To hold more than 3 travian artifacts, additional travian artifacts must be captured by chiefing the village in which the desired new artifact is located.

To capture a second travian artifact with an unique or account scope, this chiefing method must be used, as the standard limit is one unique/account and two village travian artifacts per account. Furthermore any village travian artifacts will overwrite the bonus of account or unique travian artifacts of the same type for the village they are in effect for.

Travian Treasury

Capturing travian artifacts

Travian artifacts will spawn in Natarian villages and will be inactive there until they are captured. In order to capture an artifact you need a treasury of level 10 for a village artifact or level 20 for an account or unique artifact. The treasury holding the artifact must be destroyed and a successful normal attack with a hero sent from the village containing your treasury in order to capture the artifact. Travian artifacts will not activate until 24 hours after they have been captured (this includes capturing travian artifacts that you already owned).

HINT: Natar villages cannot get travian artifacts effects – travian artifacts can only activate in player-owned villages.

HINT: Villages that have an travian artifacts in them, cannot be destroyed to vanish from the map. That protection will lift when/if the artifact is moved or captured.

Story about Travian Artifacts

Whispered rumors echo through the villages, containing legends told only by the best of storytellers. They concern the Natars, Travian’s most fearsome warriors. It is every hero’s dream to slay them, every soldier’s goal. No one knows how the Natars grew to be so powerful, their soldiers so fearsome. Determined to discover the source of their power, an elite group of scouts is sent out to spy. They return a few hours later with terrified faces and wild theories: it seems the Natars’ power comes from mysterious items they call travian artifacts, which they had stolen from your ancestors. Manage to steal the travian artifacts, they say, and you can steal their power.

Travian Artifacts

The time has come to reclaim the travian artifacts. Conspire with your alliance and assemble your warriors to retrieve these coveted objects. However, the Natars will not give the travian artifacts up without a fight… and neither shall your enemies. If you can manage to successfully repossess the travian artifacts and fend off your enemies, then you will be able to reap the rewards. Your buildings shall become incredibly strong and powerful, your troops much faster and more crop-efficient. Seize the travian artifacts, bring glory to your empire, and become the new legends for your successors.

Artefact Of The Fool

Artefact Of The Fool

This artifact changes its effect every 24 hours, and can get any of the effects of other travian artifacts, except the ability to build great warehouse or great granary. Also the effect scope is randomly decided between account and village wide every 24 hours.

Normal artifact of this type may get also negative effects, for example troops might get slower, or they might consume more food. Unique artifact of this type may only get positive effects, but the magnitude of the effect is still random. It might grant speed increase of factor of 1.01 for example.

Normal – Also negative effects are possible.

Unique – Only positive effects are possible.
